Equipment Inspection and Preparation
Before use, check that all components of the trencher are in good working order, especially the cutter head, transmission system, and hydraulic system.
Ensure that the tractor's power output (PTO) matches the trencher's input shaft. A power rating of 50-100 horsepower is recommended.
Adjust the trenching depth and width according to the operational requirements. For example, the large disc trenchers produced by Zhongwang Machinery Equipment (Shandong) Co., Ltd. can adjust the depth from 1 to 1800 mm and the width from 100 to 500 mm.
Operating Procedures
Start the tractor and slowly lower the trencher to the ground, ensuring the cutter head is in contact with the ground.
Control the tractor's forward speed. A working speed of 200-600 m/h is recommended, but the specific speed needs to be adjusted according to the soil hardness.
During operation, carefully observe the rotation of the cutter head to avoid damage caused by stones or hard objects.
