Chain trenchers have a wide range of applications. They are primarily used for excavating narrow and deep trenches in projects such as farmland irrigation, underground pipeline laying (e.g., water supply, gas, and oil pipelines), and cable/fiber optic cable laying. They can also be used for trenching, fertilization, drainage, and irrigation in orchards, vegetable gardens, and other agricultural environments.
This equipment can also be used for trenching and harvesting root crops such as yams, burdock, sugarcane, and scallions.
In the Kuwait T1282 project, chain trenchers were successfully applied, replacing traditional excavators for pipeline trench excavation. Project practice showed that its construction efficiency was approximately three times higher than that of traditional excavators, earthwork volume was reduced by 30%-40%, and trenches were formed in one pass with precise dimensions. This effectively improved efficiency and reduced costs, and promoted the mechanization of local construction.
