Matching and Pre-inspection: Select a tractor with matching power (usually ≥29.8kW) based on soil hardness (sand/loam/clay/stone); before operation, tighten the blades, confirm correct installation direction, and check bearing lubrication and drive shaft universal joint. Operation with faulty components is strictly prohibited.
Starting and Soil Engagement: First, engage the tractor's power take-off shaft (PTO) and start it. Once the disc reaches a stable operating speed (usually a linear speed of 7-15m/s), slowly lower the hydraulic lever; never force the disc into the ground when it is stationary.
Travel Control: Maintain a low, constant speed in a straight line (typically 50-200 m/h in agricultural settings), using the tractor's crawler gear; if encountering sudden changes in resistance (tree roots, stones), immediately slow down or stop to clear the obstruction and prevent blade breakage or gearbox damage. Depth and Orientation: Fine-tune the soil penetration depth using the hydraulic suspension system to maintain a stable disc tilt angle (typically 40°-60°); keep the steering wheel upright during operation to prevent tilting that could cause trench bending or unilateral overload.
Safety and Finishing: When not in operation or moving to another site, the machine must be raised to its highest position and power disconnected; it is strictly forbidden to clear debris with hands or feet or approach the rotating disc while it is in operation.
