Immediate Cleaning After Each Use (Mandatory)
• Safety First: Completely shut off the engine, remove the spark plug cap (gasoline engine) or disconnect the power supply (electric motor), and allow the equipment to cool completely before operating again.
• Clean Residue: Use a stiff-bristled brush or scraper to remove wood chips and dirt from the inlet/outlet, crushing chamber, blades, and belt cover. The interior of the core crushing chamber can be cleaned with a long-handled brush and compressed air.
• Clean the Exterior: Wipe the machine body with a damp cloth to keep the entire machine clean and dry.
• Never Wash with Water: Absolutely avoid directly washing the entire machine with large amounts of water to prevent rust or damage to the electrical/fuel systems.

Regular Maintenance of Key Components
• Inspect the blades: These are crucial for shredding efficiency. Check for nicks, dullness, severe wear, or chipping. Replace blades in pairs to maintain balance.
• Lubricate the bearings: Apply high-temperature lithium-based grease to the bearings approximately every 50 hours using a grease gun until old grease is squeezed out.
• Inspect the belts: Check belt tension (press with your finger; there should be approximately 10-15mm of deflection) and for wear and cracks.
• Inspect fasteners: Strong vibrations can loosen screws; tighten all bolts regularly.
